Our Story

Our owner, Gary Lekan, began his locksmith career in January 1976 at a small lockshop in Mount Prospect, Illinois. He learned the trade from the ground up, eventually moving to California and gaining extensive experience in the security field. In 2007, Gary founded First Lock & Security Technologies to bring his passion for the trade and dedication to client satisfaction to reality. In 2013, we opened our brick-and-mortar location near the borders of Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Mountain View.
