Protecting your business, one lock at a time.

At De's Key Service, we've been serving Northern Utah and beyond since 1984 as your trusted locksmith and security experts. Our family-owned and operated business is committed to providing exceptional service and staying up-to-date with the latest technology to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

Our Story

Our journey began when De discovered his passion for locksmithing while working for his father-in-law, Herman Cevering, at A-1 Key Service. De eventually decided to open his own store with the help of his wife, Gail. Gail initially thought she would help him get the business started and then return to doing hair. However, after 39 years, she is still an integral part of the business, working alongside De and their sons.

Our Team

Our team consists of experienced and trained professionals, each with their specialties. De, a Certified Master Locksmith (CML) and GSA-approved, is our primary locksmith. Daren, with his expertise in safes and safety deposit boxes, and Nate, a Registered Locksmith (RL) and automotive specialist, round out our talented team. Madalyn and other technicians receive on-the-job training from De and Nate.
