Good News Lock & Key is a locally owned and operated locksmith business, serving the greater Ledyard, CT area. Our story began with the passion and enthusiasm of our owner, Jeff Eilenberger, who has been fascinated with locksmithing since the age of 8. With over 20 years of experience as an auto tech, Jeff decided to pursue a career in locksmithing, eventually obtaining his CT locksmith license #LCK0000192.

The Journey to Specialization

As an auto tech, Jeff gained expertise in diagnostics and "tough cases." He continued to hone his skills through free manufacturers' classes, gaining a firm foundation in locksmithing. When he noticed a lack of automotive locksmiths in his area, he decided to specialize in this niche. Starting with VATS and keyless entry systems, Jeff gradually expanded his services to high-security capabilities, including programming for Volkswagen, Audi, and BMW.
