Our History

In 1996, Greg Rash, a seasoned locksmith with years of experience in the U.S. and Australia, decided to open his own locksmith shop in Sequim after being unable to find work in his field in the local area. Initially operating as a mobile-only service, The Master Locksmith quickly gained a strong reputation and expanded into a full-service shop. Over the years, we have grown to serve not only Sequim but also the surrounding communities in Clallam and Jefferson counties, including Carlsborg, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, and beyond.

In addition to our local services, we have also provided our expertise to military bases, including McCord, Bremerton, and the Coast Guard in Port Angeles and Neah Bay.
